Topic : Jesus and His Teaching's......

Hi All....

First a bit of background about myself.... I believe in God and Jesus... but I do not class myself as belonging to ANY religion...
I believe that Everyone has a right to their own beliefs , make their own choices its what God gave free will to man for...

This is not scripture as such but more of how I see and what I believe in when it concerns Jesus and the reason for Him being here 2000 years ago.

I believe that Jesus was here to teach everyone how to conduct their lives, the difference between right and wrong , good and evil....etc etc
as it states in the Bible.....

The one thing that religion/churche's in general (from what I have observed) seem to focus their attention on is the cross and the fact of Jesus death...
When in fact they should be concentrating on his life... how Jesus lived... it is by far a more important message.... the death of Jesus is also an important message i,m not disputing that one bit...

If everyone lived as Jesus did then the world would be a better place for everyone, there would be no wars no famine no greed everyone would have what they needed when they needed it, people would be helping eacth other rather than hindering each other as a majority of people do and have done in the past...

It suprises me how people say they are religious, but still go against God's wishes, and what is written in the Bible...

Feel free to leave a reply with your own thoughts on this thread or anything contained in it....

Sorry if this is in the wrong section,
