Joshua 1:7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. What many bypass is that to accomplish obeying the Word of God we must deny our own will, even as Christ also tells us if we will follow Him. Many suppose this to be a license to suppose that worldly ambition and success is somehow godliness, which it is not.
