April 26 Reading Heavy Burdens Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.� �Matthew 11:28 Have you had a time in your life that it was too much. I can remember in college when the professor gave out the syllabus and seeing all these tests and and reports. You might not had something like this but you might had something was too much. We look back at scripture how much Jesus did and what He went through. Sometimes thought that He didn't get the work done but He did with God's help. I heard a saying it says this: t has been said, �It�s not what life throws at you; it�s how you deal with it that makes all the difference.� As I think about this its very true of our lives. Jesus went through it when people refused of their sins. It was discouaging for Him. But in the times He drew close to God for His goodness and grace. I feel before you are a Christian Jesus carried a burden for you and I on the Cross and comes to point that we give it to Him. What burdens do you need to give to Him today? He is there with you and beside you. Continue with the verse. You can pray a prayer like this: Jesus I give my burdens to you what it is today and lay them at your feet in Jesus Name Amen What's your thoughts!! thank you so much for your efforts in compiling and posting the above. I found it to be most helpful and soundly based on scripture alone. Very refreshing at a time in evangelicalism where there is so little biblical exposition of His Word.

Yes indeed Jesus Christ and the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are essential to starting a church. But what kind of church? Have you ever thought of starting a House Church? God should be Its main Focus.... it should be very obvious... Also the teachings of the Bible and how to conduct everyday life... This is what I think a Church should be like I would refrain from using ANY statues, idols etc of ANY kind... I would have plain white walls with seating set in a circle probably... and I also would NOT have a Priest, minister or the like... instead I would have it set up as informal as possible where everyone that walks in the door is EQUAL...and has an EQUAL say in everything It does not even have to be in a building... Its NOT the building that is a church BUT the people themselves A True Church is the people that gather together to praise God and study the Bible I would NOT force people to pray when around everyone else that is there.... As it states in the Bible Prayer/Praying should be done between God and whoever is praying NOT in a room full of people... Same goes for confessing sins to God... Confessing sins should be between God and yourself ONLY.... NOT confess to a priest, minister or the equivalent so they say them to God... I am sure it states that exact same thing in the Bible somewhere (maybe worded slightly different) , as well as other things I have said in this post Hopefully this answers Your question and then some!
